Rosalia

Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. From her teens the singer is a part of popular music and flamenco. Also, she has explored other genres like hip-hop soul and Trap. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as delicate and sharp, yet having the grit of more mature singers. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist It also topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she won the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The show premiered in March 2022. was launched following the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the program. In addition to winning three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
