Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American TV presenter, model and actress is an American comedian. Panganiban is dubbed the "new queen of Drama" by many media publications. Panganiban is also regarded as one of the Philippines' most experienced and versatile actors. The term angelica roots means that only the root of the plant is used. Being the youngest contestant ever to compete on the show, she came in second. Angelica Hale became very sick in 2012, at the time she was just 4 years old of age. Her pneumonia was double that was caused by a severe strain of strep-pneumococcal. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston put her on ECMO, a life-saving intervention. The patient was suffering from numerous organ problems, including failure of her kidneys. The process of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis later changed her life to a new normal. After an hospitalization of 80 days Angelica nearly died and then on a road of healing. Angelica was in dialysis for nearly a year before she was finally ready to undergo the most important procedure of her life, a kidney transplant. The kidney that would be donated to her came from none other than her mom. Angelica and mom had the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on the 13th of September, 2013, at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals that are located next to each other. Angelica Hale's desire to become a superstar has never wavered.
